Did you ever wonder how astronomers know so much about places where humans have never been?  The answer is usually spectroscopy!  Spectroscopy turns light from outer space into a rainbow-colored fingerprint that can reveal astounding things about the universe.  In this make-and-take activity, you’ll construct your own cardboard spectroscope.

The Burton Public Library will be closed October 10th for Staff Development Day. We will open again Tuesday October 11 at 9am. 

Create your very own halloween accessory or trinket using polymer clay! Supplies provided. Ages 12 and up
