Children's programs and storytimes are held throughout the year and are always free of charge.  Check the library events calendar  for programs and events:

We currently offer two storytimes. Family Storytime is on Tuesdays at 10 am, where we explore reading, the alphabet, counting, moving, sharing, and bubbles for children 0 to 5 and their siblings. Movin' and Groovin, on Fridays from 10:00-10:45 am is a musical Storytime perfect for kids who have trouble sitting still! Feel free to bring your own instruments and be ready to dance. You don't have to register for storytimes, just come and have fun!

Burton Book Buddies is our monthly book club for ages 10-16. We meet the second Wednesday of the month, discuss the book and do activities based on the stories we have read. You can join at any time, the book will be listed in our calendar event, and will be available to check out at our youth services desk.  Registration is so we know how many books to have available.

Burton Library offers a wide selection of VOX books that include a VOX reader that will read the story as you look at the pages in the book. VOX books are not holdable, but you can check them out when you come to visit the library.
