Have you always wanted to write a book but aren’t sure where to start? Do you make funny observations daily or have family recipes that you think would make a great publication? Whatever the reason, teens and adults are invited to an informational session to learn more about GCPL’s & Burton Public Library’s collaborative year-long writing program “Blog your way to a book”, where we will discuss how you can go from a blogger to a published author in one year. Light refreshments provided.

The Geauga Sweet Strings will be celebrating in the Reading Garden, along with a host of other musicians.  Join us from 11am to 1pm to make your own instrument and play along!

Ever wonder where honey comes from and how bees create the sweet tasting treat?  We'll learn about honey extracting, see some honey-bees up close, try a sample of locally made honey and more!  All ages welcome.  

Bring your pet for a grand parade around the Reading Garden.  All pets are welcome, even if they aren't "real".  Use good judgement and make sure your pet is people friendly.  Leashes, cages/pet carriers mandatory.

Mike Fath of Burton will show us the tools of ancient locals and their uses. Come at 6 p.m. if you have arrowheads or other found relics to ask Mike about!
 

Bobby has opened for Blue Oyster Cult, Buckcherry, Saliva just to name but a few. In 2013 he played the half time show at an AZ Cardinals game in front of 60,000 people and has played many iconic Cleveland venues such as The Hard Rock Cafe', The Agora, Peabody's and more.
