Join us for our sixteenth annual Edible Book Festival.  All ages welcome. 

How does the Edible Book Festival work?! 
Step 1: Pick any book for your theme.
Step 2: Bake/make/create an entirely edible cake, cookie(s) or edible creation based on your book. 
Step 3: Bring your creation to the library on Saturday, April 7th by 11am for judging/viewing, followed by an eating party. 

Meet several Wildlife creatures face-to-face at this program!  Discover where they live, their favorite food, their hunting techniques and more.  Brought to you by Lake Metro Parks.  Registration required.  All ages welcome.

Join us for a special Holiday-themed polka performance by The Chardon Polka Band! All ages welcome. No registration required. 

                                                                   
 

Sara Showman of the Largely Literary Theater will discuss the meanings behind our Christmas traditions and perform songs of the season. Please bring 2 canned goods for the Geauga County Hunger Task Force if you are able. Treats will be served. No registration.

Burton Public Library will be closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (September 2,3 & 4). We will re-open on Tuesday, September 5th at 9:00 a.m.

Join us during the Apple Butter Festival for our Friends' Book Sale! 

Kid's Books: 25 cents, paperbacks: 50 cents, hardcovers: one dollar an item. This event will be held in the Merritt Room on the main floor of the Library.
